Allow users to register their own MFA devices
IAM Identity Center administrators can allow users to self-register their own MFA devices.
To allow users to register their own MFA devices

Open the IAM Identity Center console

In the left navigation pane, choose Settings.

On the Settings page, choose the Authentication tab.

In the Multi-factor authentication section, choose Configure.

On the Configure multi-factor authentication page, under Who can manage MFA devices, choose Users can add and manage their own MFA devices.

Choose Save changes.
