Returns the specification for the specified protection group.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

 ** [ProtectionGroupId](#API_DescribeProtectionGroup_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="AWSShield-DescribeProtectionGroup-request-ProtectionGroupId"></a>
The name of the protection group. You use this to identify the protection group in lists and to manage the protection group, for example to update, delete, or describe it.   
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 36.  
Pattern: `[a-zA-Z0-9\\-]*`   
Required: Yes
