# CloudWatch 中的基本監控和詳細監控

CloudWatch 提供兩種類別的監控：*基本監控*和*詳細監控*。

許多 AWS 服務透過將一組預設指標發佈至 CloudWatch 來提供基本監控，無需向客戶收費。根據預設，當您開始使用其中一項時 AWS 服務，會自動啟用基本監控。如需提供基本監控的服務清單，請參閱[AWS 發佈 CloudWatch 指標的 服務](aws-services-cloudwatch-metrics.md)。

詳細監控選項會因提供此監控的服務而異。例如，Amazon EC2 詳細監控提供時間間隔更小的指標，發布間隔為一分鐘，而 Amazon EC2 基本監控的發怖間隔為五分鐘。Amazon S3 和適用於 Apache Kafka 的 Amazon Managed Streaming 的詳細監控則提供更為精細的指標。

在不同 AWS 服務中，詳細監控也有不同的名稱。例如，在 Amazon EC2 中稱為詳細監控，在 AWS Elastic Beanstalk 中稱為增強型監控，在 Amazon S3 中稱為請求指標。

使用 Amazon EC2 的詳細監控，可幫助您更好地管理 Amazon EC2 資源，以便您可以更快地尋找趨勢並採取行動。若是使用 Amazon S3，則可以使用一分鐘間隔的請求指標，幫助您快速找出操作問題並採取行動。在 Amazon MSK 上，如果啟用 `PER_BROKER`、`PER_TOPIC_PER_BROKER` 或 `PER_TOPIC_PER_PARTITION` 層級監控，可以使用更多指標，獲得更詳細的資訊。
