Attaches tags to a resource.

 **Required permissions: ** `rolesanywhere:TagResource`.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

The ARN of the resource.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 1011.  
Required: Yes

 ** [tags](#API_TagResource_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="rolesanywhere-TagResource-request-tags"></a>
The tags to attach to the resource.  
Type: Array of [Tag](API_Tag.md) objects  
Array Members: Minimum number of 0 items. Maximum number of 200 items.  
Required: Yes

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 201 response with an empty HTTP body.

Validation exception error.  
HTTP Status Code: 400
