# AssociateIpGroups

Associates the specified IP access control group with the specified directory.

## Request Parameters

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

 ** [DirectoryId](#API_AssociateIpGroups_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="WorkSpaces-AssociateIpGroups-request-DirectoryId"></a>
The identifier of the directory.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 10. Maximum length of 65.  
Pattern: `^(d-[0-9a-f]{8,63}$)|(wsd-[0-9a-z]{8,63}$)`   
Required: Yes

 ** [GroupIds](#API_AssociateIpGroups_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="WorkSpaces-AssociateIpGroups-request-GroupIds"></a>
The identifiers of one or more IP access control groups.  
Type: Array of strings  
Pattern: `wsipg-[0-9a-z]{8,63}$`   
Required: Yes

## Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.
