Tool-invocation pattern primitive used to express both an agent-requested approval and a finalized approval. The primitive is uniform across AWS and third-party tools: a tool identifier plus a map of argument pins that narrow which invocations the pattern matches.

    • hasArgumentPins

      For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the ArgumentPins property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.

      Argument constraints that narrow which tool invocations the pattern matches. For AWS tools, the map must include `operation` (the IAM action, e.g. `ec2:AuthorizeSecurityGroupIngress`) and `resource_arn` (the resource ARN or ARN glob); additional narrowing arguments go in further pin keys. The same `{tool, argumentPins}` shape is used uniformly for AWS and third-party tools, with tool-specific keys for third-party tools. Requests whose argument pins are collectively too large are rejected with a ValidationException.

      Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

      This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasArgumentPins() method.
