channelDescription

CreateChannelResponse.Builder channelDescription(ChannelDescription channelDescription)

The configuration and current status of the channel, including its ARN, destination configuration, and lifecycle state. Immediately after creation, the state is CREATING.

Parameters:

channelDescription - The configuration and current status of the channel, including its ARN, destination configuration, and lifecycle state. Immediately after creation, the state is CREATING.

Returns:

Returns a reference to this object so that method calls can be chained together.

channelDescription

default CreateChannelResponse.Builder channelDescription(Consumer<ChannelDescription.Builder> channelDescription)

The configuration and current status of the channel, including its ARN, destination configuration, and lifecycle state. Immediately after creation, the state is CREATING.

This is a convenience method that creates an instance of the ChannelDescription.Builder avoiding the need to create one manually via ChannelDescription.builder().

When the Consumer completes, SdkBuilder.build() is called immediately and its result is passed to channelDescription(ChannelDescription).

Parameters:

channelDescription - a consumer that will call methods on ChannelDescription.Builder

Returns:

Returns a reference to this object so that method calls can be chained together.
