Amazon Inspector is a vulnerability discovery service that automates continuous scanning for security vulnerabilities within your Amazon EC2, Amazon ECR, and AWS Lambda environments. Amazon Inspector also provides the Amazon Inspector Scan API, which is a vulnerability scanning feature for Software Bill of Materials (SBOM). The Amazon Inspector Scan API can be used to perform one-time scans on SBOMs or integrated into your CI/CD pipelines to scan SBOMs for resources outside of AWS.
