UPDATEELASTICIP()`¶

About UpdateElasticIp¶

Updates a registered Elastic IP address's name. For more information, see Resource Management.

Required Permissions: To use this action, an IAM user must have a Manage permissions level for the stack, or an attached policy that explicitly grants permissions. For more information on user permissions, see Managing User Permissions.

Required arguments:¶

`IV_ELASTICIP` `TYPE /AWS1/OWXSTRING` `/AWS1/OWXSTRING`¶

The IP address for which you want to update the name.

Optional arguments:¶

`IV_NAME` `TYPE /AWS1/OWXSTRING` `/AWS1/OWXSTRING`¶

The new name, which can be a maximum of 32 characters.
