/AWS1/IF_RDS=>COPYDBPARAMETERGROUP()¶
About CopyDBParameterGroup¶
Copies the specified DB parameter group.
You can't copy a default DB parameter group. Instead, create a new custom DB parameter group, which copies the default parameters and values for the specified DB parameter group family.

IMPORTING¶
Required arguments:¶
iv_sourcedbparametergroupid TYPE /AWS1/RDSSTRING /AWS1/RDSSTRING¶
The identifier or ARN for the source DB parameter group. For information about
creating an ARN, see Constructing an ARN for Amazon RDS in the Amazon RDS User Guide.Constraints:
Must specify a valid DB parameter group.

Examples¶
Syntax Example¶
This is an example of the syntax for calling the method. It includes every possible argument and initializes every possible value. The data provided is not necessarily semantically accurate (for example the value "string" may be provided for something that is intended to be an instance ID, or in some cases two arguments may be mutually exclusive). The syntax shows the ABAP syntax for creating the various data structures.
DATA(lo_result) = lo_client->copydbparametergroup(
it_tags = VALUE /aws1/cl_rdstag=>tt_taglist(
(
new /aws1/cl_rdstag(
iv_key = |string|
iv_value = |string|
)
)
)
iv_sourcedbparametergroupid = |string|
iv_targetdbparametergroupid = |string|
iv_targetdbparamgroupdesc = |string|
).
This is an example of reading all possible response values
lo_result = lo_result.
IF lo_result IS NOT INITIAL.
lo_dbparametergroup = lo_result->get_dbparametergroup( ).
IF lo_dbparametergroup IS NOT INITIAL.
lv_string = lo_dbparametergroup->get_dbparametergroupname( ).
lv_string = lo_dbparametergroup->get_dbparametergroupfamily( ).
lv_string = lo_dbparametergroup->get_description( ).

ENDIF.
ENDIF.
To copy a DB parameter group¶
The following example makes a copy of a DB parameter group.
DATA(lo_result) = lo_client->copydbparametergroup(
iv_sourcedbparametergroupid = |mydbpg|
iv_targetdbparametergroupid = |mydbpgcopy|
iv_targetdbparamgroupdesc = |Copy of mydbpg parameter group|
).
