You can use a Firehose to read and process records from a Kinesis stream. Firehose is a fully managed service for delivering real-time streaming data to destinations such as Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Amazon OpenSearch Service, and Splunk. Firehose also supports any custom HTTP endpoint or HTTP endpoints owned by supported third-party service providers, including Datadog, MongoDB, and New Relic. You can also configure Firehose to transform your data records and to convert the record format before delivering your data to its destination. For more information, see Writing to Firehose Using Kinesis Data Streams.
