/AWS1/IF_EC2=>PURCHASERSVDINSTSOFFERING()¶
About PurchaseReservedInstancesOffering¶
Purchases a Reserved Instance for use with your account. With Reserved Instances, you pay a lower hourly rate compared to On-Demand instance pricing.
Use DescribeReservedInstancesOfferings to get a list of Reserved Instance offerings that match your specifications. After you've purchased a Reserved Instance, you can check for your new Reserved Instance with DescribeReservedInstances.
To queue a purchase for a future date and time, specify a purchase time. If you do not specify a purchase time, the default is the current time.
For more information, see Reserved Instances and Sell in the Reserved Instance Marketplace in the Amazon EC2 User Guide.

Examples¶
Syntax Example¶
This is an example of the syntax for calling the method. It includes every possible argument and initializes every possible value. The data provided is not necessarily semantically accurate (for example the value "string" may be provided for something that is intended to be an instance ID, or in some cases two arguments may be mutually exclusive). The syntax shows the ABAP syntax for creating the various data structures.
DATA(lo_result) = lo_client->purchasersvdinstsoffering(
io_limitprice = new /aws1/cl_ec2rsvdinstlimitprice(
iv_amount = '0.1'
iv_currencycode = |string|
)
iv_dryrun = ABAP_TRUE
iv_instancecount = 123
iv_purchasetime = '20150101000000.0000000'
iv_reservedinstsofferingid = |string|
).
This is an example of reading all possible response values
lo_result = lo_result.
IF lo_result IS NOT INITIAL.
lv_string = lo_result->get_reservedinstancesid( ).
