The AWS OpsWorks Stacks service reached end of life on May 26, 2024 and has been disabled for both new and existing customers.

The opsworks element—sometimes referred to as the
opsworks namespace—contains a set of attributes that define the
basic stack configuration.
Important
Overriding the attribute values in the opsworks namespace is not
recommended. Doing so can cause the built-in recipes to fail.
