QuickSight users with Admin Pro, Author Pro, or Reader Pro roles can use scenarios with Amazon Q in QuickSight to analyze complex business problems with simple natural language.
To get started with scenarios, a QuickSight user describes a problem that they want to solve and adds relevant data from QuickSight or from their computer to be used in the data analysis. Alternatively, users can let Amazon Q in QuickSight search for all relevant data that can be used to solve the problem. Amazon Q returns a series of analyses or prompts to dive deeper into the data. Users can also enter their own prompts to create a custom analysis. After a new prompt is received, Amazon Q breaks down the analysis into steps and executes them. Outputs include specific data insights, interactive visuals, and an analysis of what the findings might mean for the business with suggested next actions. The following screenshot shows the Amazon QuickSight scenarios workspace.
