Enable Next Generation Amazon Connect

How Amazon Connect billing works
When you enable next generation Amazon Connect:

There is a minimum 30-day billing period.

If you disable within the 30-day billing period, prices apply until the 30-days elapse. Disabling is effective immediately after you are out of the original 30-day period; you revert to individual feature pricing (see Amazon Connect Pricing
). -
Any activated free trials of relevant Amazon Connect services end. For example, free trials of Contact Lens conversational analytics, Contact Lens performance evaluation, and agent scheduling.
For global resiliency pricing, contact your AWS Technical Account Manager or Solutions Architect.
Best practices for next generation Amazon Connect

When using Amazon Connect, you have the following two pricing options:

You can pay separately for channels and any optimization features you choose to use.
- OR -

If you enable the next generation Amazon Connect, you'll use an all-inclusive channel pricing model that covers all optimization features for usage on that platform.
The all-inclusive pricing includes unlimited use of:

Contact Lens capabilities: conversational analytics, performance evaluation, and screen recording

Agent scheduling tools

AI-powered voice and chat through Amazon Lex and Amazon Q in Connect

Both pricing models are available, giving you the flexibility to choose the option that best suits your needs.
How to enable Amazon Connect

Log in to the AWS Management Console using your AWS account.

In the AWS Management Console, in the search box, type Amazon Connect. Choose Amazon Connect, as shown in the following image.

On the Amazon Connect virtual contact center instances page, choose the instance alias where you want to enable Amazon Connect.

In the navigation pane, choose Amazon Connect, and then choose Enable.
How to disable Amazon Connect
Note
If you are still within the first 30 days of your subscription and you disable next generation Amazon Connect, you will have access to and pay for Amazon Connect capabilities until the first 30 days end.

On the Amazon Connect virtual contact center instances page, choose the instance alias where you want to disable Amazon Connect.

In the navigation pane, choose Amazon Connect, and then choose Disable.
